Feeling low over a wretched hatch. Thinking about lifting my spirits with a chick purchase. We live in south shore but will be shopping in Carson tomorrow. Anyone with spare chicks? I may grab some from s&w but I'd like breeding stock over hatchery...

Green's Feed pretty much always has them this time of year. Shipments come in on Fridays. You can call them and see what they have. Sorry about the horrible hatch!

Kandi - Feed World on 4th and Spokane Streets in Reno has EE's and Golden Laced Wyandottes. Where's Sunny when you need her, she had chicks last week, I got 2 from her. I have no idea if she has any left though.

Thanks guys- but Reno is1 1/2 hour from south shore. I was hoping for "home stock" rather than hatchery... I can always grab some babies from S&W feed in Carson when I go to Costco I suppose :-( look how picky I have become!!!!!

Here is one of my new Bantam dark Cornish trio I own the hens and Julie owns the roo and we have split chick rights


Just candled my egg have what looks like 9 out of 11 and all from Kim are developing! Not sure about the ones at Hilary's but hope good

Wish I'd gotten this earlier.
I have older chicks available. 3 weeks to 6 week olds. Marans and lavender Orps and a couple of Cochins....

Worst day ever. Sick, bullied, beat, and yelled at. Detained at school for suicide risk. I may not see tomorrow if this continues.

It'll get better. We all have sucky days. I hated being a teenager because things always seemed either super awesome or super horrible. Sorry your day was so bad, but I'm glad you could log on here and tell us about it.
