Gorgeous ducks you have there... Ducks make such amazing pets too but you have to start with them when they are chicks. I used to have one that followed me every where I went, even on the bus. *LOL*

I was thinking of getting some of these:

And for Geese:

We had these growing up and they are the best geese, they are the best guard dogs and they are really affectionate to their human family. Not too affectionate with strangers but that is not always a bad thing.

Beautiful pics there Daegorn ! I am sitting here watching this dang incubator wondering how much longer its going to be before I get a pip... it can take longer than 21 days right ?

My doxies have taken to cleaning the baby chicks behinds, legs, everything it's so cute. However I would not even think about leaving them anywhere near them alone.

Eglyntine and daegorn beautiful photos! Those ducks are gorgeous & I love the horse - I used to ride English and show jump. I would love to get back into it. Just no time...

Genny - thanks for sharing! That was really gross!

I used to run - 4 miles in 39 min (not bad for someone who was 46!). I had plans on doing the Mardi Gras Marathon in New Orleans earlier this year but.. last year I had a significant stress fracture in my calcaneous (heel bone - large thick bone difficult to fracture). Then I had knee issues resulting in surgery in December. Surgery showed cartilage damage - so no running - Two days ago, I started walk/run and I just got back from my second walk/run (cleared it with my orthopedic surgeon yesterday)! Feels, oh so good, to be semi running again. I just have to discipline myself from overdoing it. That's how I got into trouble last year. I heard about a 5K (3.1 miles) run in New York called www.tunneltotowersrun.org. If you get the chance to go to the website and read the background story it is a heartwrenching tale. I am thinking about doing it maybe next year. 2 years ago, I did the "Battle of the Rattle" which was amazing! Straight up Rattlesnake (600 ft almost vertical climb) then a 5K run. It was spectacular! Anyway, thanks for listening - it just felt so good to be running again...
