Nevadans?

I love the pics everyone.
Jeepers we have ducks. 4 wild mallards, 8 muscovies, and 5 really pretty runner-somthing crosses.

I have Welsh Harlequins. Too young to breed this year but I plan to breed some next spring when they start to lay. I already have a buyer for the eggs too, even though they haven't started laying.

Sonny, Glad to hear your doing well. Listen to your doctor.

I want to see pics of the Welsh Harlequins, Humbrd!

SparksNV: I have been recovering from one thing after another! Last year Bobby and I where so close to going to our first event and I went and got sick! Now I have some kind of hip problem! I can't wait to be healthy again. After 40 the body just aint what she used to be, to rough on it when I was younger.

Sonny: I would tell you to slow down but you are just like me. I had surgery and the dr. said don't lift any thing over 5lb. so I pushed all the living room furniture around to where I wanted it. Hubby was not to pleased with me when he came home!

Just be careful we just don't recover the way we used to.

They were right... it's odd. But yes, I've done that too. Well, actually, just all the pages with our family name... and my mother's maiden name... and my extended families' names... and my friend's names, and... oh heck it's sounding odder and odder.

is "odder" even a word?

And just when I was starting to think maybe I wasn't so weird... the voice of reason blows a raspberry in my face!

Sorry Eglyntine! Just blame the pain pills!

The Borg names are seriously funny though!!! Um... I mean... ahem... I have no idea what your talking about. I've never been into Star Trek! Or, um, whatever show that came from!

I'm starting to think you all have been talking to my DH, my family, my friends and my Doctor!

Yea, going too slow doesn't agree with me very well but I am healing well (no, not healing nearly as fast as I did at 20)! OK, so I'm not resting like I should but I am doing a lot of things right. I'm not doing any lifting (seriously, I'm behaving myself in this area), no heavy housework and I'm eating healthy, taking my meds and vitamins and I'm staying hydrated. Love you all for worrying though!
smile.png
I really am feeling great! Considering.
I went for my 1 week appt today and the Doc was shocked at how well I was doing. She laughed when I complained it seemed slow to me. She said she's surprised I can hobble around at all after the way she beat me up!
lol-028.gif
Says she still hasn't recovered from the ordeal (a 2 hour surgery turned into 8 hours due to some very unexpected problems). So thank you all for your concern but I really am a tough old broad and I'm doing things the only way I know how. Not always the smartest way but..., well..., OK, I got nothin' cause you are all correct and I know it. I also know I'm not going to do it any differently.

Genny, Heather or Daniel, if the pain pills are making me sound really, really idiotic would you do me a favor? Call me early tomorrow so I can erase most of this?

Pretty Please?!!

You do not sound silly at all... I think we are just so happy that you are able to get up and around and you are doing so well. I do not know why but for some reason when ever I am trying to recover from something or I am in a lot of pain on any given day, sitting in this darn computer chair makes it worse. I can get up and run around the house like the Flash but sitting in front of the computer completely drains me.

I think we are more susceptible to the mind control parameters of the computer when we are recovering from any illness. We see right through the facade. *EVILCACKLE*

Ok top that for being weird at 3:39 am.

Nighty Night all...

I'm not as good a photographer as some of you are but here is a picture of a pair of the Harly's

I wish I had as nice a pond for them as you have for your ducks.

Just for fun I thought I'd throw in a couple of pictures of the Polish chickens I got this spring too.

This first one is a Golden Polish.

And these are Buff Polish.
