Hey Ron, when you're ready to do pigs again I'm hoping to get on this with you as well! I haven't had fresh raised pig met since we moved from California, I really miss it, it's so much better than what you get at the store that's for sure and my DH's family has a great garlic sausage and I just got the recipe so I want to try it out!

Elizabeth you and Jose have a beautiful family, it really made me miss my older son and grandchildren today not having them here - in a good way though, sorry about the play equipment that Bartley Ranch didn't have they are more of a Western history of Reno in the early 1800's. One of the buildings they have came from Boomtown, they had 3 buildings from the 1800's and they donated 1 of them when they had to tear them down for Cabela's.

Anyways, I really enjoyed today and this thread too! Oh and Sunny - you did not seem nervous at all. You are a great people person and Steve too! Mark & Aubrey you to are such a great couple, you both are good too and I've always enjoyed talking with you!

Poor Bella decided to go after Sundae when I got home so she's now officially in the brooder until Monday morning, I really don't know why she's being so aggressive since I don't have any hens in my flock being mean. Sundae wasn't allowed to eat any treats at all and Bella kept circling her giving her the evil eye and then tried to hold her down with her foot. So I picked her up and said no more you are done now and it was very nice having the SLW's actually go in the coop and straight up on the roosts for the first time in almost 8 weeks. I truly don't understand Bella, it makes me sad just thinking about it and trying to figure her out. Most of the time she's very fun to watch then she gets into these episodes of hers and no one is safe except Monique, Bella has a mutual respect for Monique. I just don't know but I'm going to stop ranting now.

Yeah I did see that post but they only have the one girl. I am in talks with a lady in Modesto who will sell me a Doe and a whether AND meet me in Bridgeport for a hundred bucks. That's a steal! Shes a byc-ER. She even offered to have the female impregnated before I get her! She just really wants to downsize her herd.
