not me was Ron, though he just hatched wheaten and partridge penedesenca. He was not thrilled with there packing however. He told them and I think they said they would try something else in the future.

white empordanesa. White or any solid color of penedesenca other than black. Though white is it in the states. There are red and blue tail in Spain.

Empordanesa have the same benifits as penedesenca.

Ultra Heat Hardy , Ultra Alert ( Empordanesa the most of any I have seen )
Low food conversion . Do not seem to get sick easy.

Lay a very Dark brown egg. Crele penedesenca lay more medium brown but the rest dark.

all penedesenca are rare. Empordanesa are very rare

I noticed in your sig line that you have Blue Ameraucanas. Are you the one who had a Blue Am rooster for sale on Craigslist a while (1 year+) ago? I know it was someone in your area. He was a real beauty!

Good Morning! Boy that felt great to do that again after not posting a Good Morning for so long!

Chick update: Yesterday Amanda decided it was time for the little family to go into the main chicken area. Boy was I nervous on how Bella would handle it. Well, Bella did great and there wasn't anything to worry about. It also looks like Amanda is in her same pecking order or at least Amanda says Bella is in charge here and what she says goes. Bella gave Amanda a slight peck and of course a little chick decided it was going to let Bella know that wasn't allowed so Bella gave it the littlest peck I've ever seen and the chick went running back to Amanda.

Everyone is getting along great and now I have 2 broodies in the coop, Lacey still and now Monique. Boy, baby chick raising is getting contagious at my house this year but nope I'm not going to even attempt to get more baby chicks. No way, nope, not gonna do it, nada!
