Nevadans?

Here's some pictures I just took of the teenagers today and of course Alberto had to get in there as well. Alberto is my main rooster I'm keeping.

He is beautiful Sheryl!

If you are looking for something special, I have several quality breeds of poultry available.

I"m probably am not going to the Stockton show, but for those who are, I can meet you in Auburn on your way back, along I-80.

I will also will be coming up to BoomTown in the next couple of days and can meet there for delivery.

Check out the list and photos of my available birds on the 2014 Stockton Pre-Sale thread, and my ad on Chicks 1 day to 8 weeks old auction, for my 6 week old Golden Cuckoo Marans chicks.

Thanks Candy,

These came from Sunny who is working on show quality birds that lay the highest dark eggs. I know I have 1 girl that lays close to a 9 if not a 9 and another 5 month old getting ready for POL. I just can't have 4 roosters to 5 hens in my little area. Alberto already has a hard time fitting in the door of the coop as it is. The poor guy must really duck his head and chest down to get in there.

When are you going to Boomtown? I'll be happy to meet up with you there just to say hi and perhaps have lunch or dinner if you want.

My Golden Cuckoo Marans rooster from Kirstie is HUGE too! My husband, who is not a bit interested in chickens, says every time he sees him, "Now THAT'S a rooster!! Cracks me up! The Marans roosters sure are impressive aren't they? And so non-aggressive too.

That is great that yours lay such a dark egg! I get excited every time I see those chocolate colored eggs in the nesting box. They sure do look pretty mixed with the green and blue eggs too!

Unfortunately I will be with my husband and his mother who has advanced Dementia. It will be a quick trip just to get some things for my husband's new rifle. Maybe this spring or summer I can drive up and we can meet up for lunch. That would be fun!

kmollyhughes, you should be very happy with your birds you got from Sunny.

Is anyone going to the Stockton show? I'm looking for someone who can take 2 roosters there for someone.

It's not looking good getting someone to take these guys to Stockton right now.

I did let Sunny know and she's super happy too! These guys are really getting to my hens right now, it's a big fight in the coop at night. Not good.
