I just put 18 Guinea Fowl eggs into the incubator. I've never incubated anything before, so this could get interesting...

I have 3 thermometers, including an Acurite hygrometer/thermometer.
I also have the automatic turner.

I have a silver spangled hamburg hen who got wry neck and now she lives in the garage. The only problem is that when we tried to reintroduce her all the other hens picked on her and they are in an enclosed run and she had trouble getting away. Now she has lived in the garage for a few week. She has put on alot of weight, but is still a touch tipsy. If anyone wants her she is free with some poly-vi-sol to give her daily so she doesn't relapse.

Fingers crossed for a good hatch! Come on guineas! We did 4 turkeys this year, and when I brought up guineas my husband was like "Can't we eat the turkey's first?!" Maybe next year.
