Serama are even worse than other breeds for both shipping and incubating. And I am beginning to suspect that Reno is a particularly bad place to receive them. I can think of a few things we may have going against us. Altitude, sort of our own little pocket for climate, low humidity, cool nights year round. plus the really bumpy rides planes seem to commonly have flying over the dessert. I don't think 28 eggs is a lot to go on so it is very interesting to know what others are getting in the way of results with shipped eggs. adding your numbers to mine it gives Reno a whopping 9% hatch rate for shipped eggs.
