I went there once and saw Dale earnhart's car, but i was just a little kid. I also saw the car Bonnie and Clyde died in last year, and that was interesting, and sad. i kinda idol them.

Man i wish that was your car! I'd trade my Shamo girl to ride in it!!
My dad has a '31 chevy pickup i looove. Its so cool. Everything is orriginal, and when i have enough money im going to get it running. The engine needs a little work, and the frame is bent, but i can fix most of that on my own. Just so you know, im not going to do anything stupid to it, like cut it up, lower it, paint purple flames on it, etc. Its going stock. Awww, the wonderful dreams i have. <3 oh, its so cool when you look inside of it! Get this: there arent seats! just these springs on one side. And the floorboard is wooden. The winshield is there and whole, and omg the left side blinker is a metal arm attached to a string!!
This is the only pic i have of it on here.

And hes trying to sell it off and on, so if you see it on craigs list DO NOT buy it. Dont. I will hunt you down.

Hahaha, not to scare you.

Dudes i have always been a chevy girl, so guess what my first car is? A Chrysler. Go figure. jkjk i love the thing. Its only horrible sometimes. I had to pay 500 for it.

My toy is a 1979 Lincoln Collectors Series Continental. 23 feet long and 7000 lbs. When I got it last fall it only had 25000 original miles on it. It was basically left in a garage for all these years and the electrical and anything rubber or plastic under the hood has dry rotted. lots of tinkering, but it actually runs very well.

nevadaron thanks for asking, darla is doing great. i think the jail time spooked her a bit. im so happy it worked out, shes turning out to be a very nice pullet.

btw, great car talk! i love the oldies! My boyfriend is a v.w. guy, though. theyre alright but id really like to save up for a studebaker. Hes got a 67 ghia and a 58 crew cab, plus we used to have a 67 fastback but it was such a hunk of junk i practically begged someone to come take it. Love love love the chrystler, lacey!

Shame on me for taking a week long vacation in Colorado and not checking this forum! I have a lot of reading to catch up on!

Our RIR's are officially outside as of today. They were getting too big (and too spoiled) staying in the laundry room. They seem to be adjusting to the heat. I let them out early this morning to minimize the shock. Their coop is in the afternoon sun, so I hope that by their bedtime it will be cool enough for them. If not, I will have to relocate their house.

Bouldercityfowl, i hope they do well. you might need to put some shade out for them, though. And it'll be cool enough by bed time, it was actually cold this morning. Hey reno peeps, how you likin' the rain?

My car is a 1963 Chrysler 300. lol i hated it when we first got it, but a month of working on it and making her run real nice( and paying for it.), well, it grew on me. hahaha, silly to get attached to a car, but oh well. Urg, and i still dont have my licence!
Excuse the paint. Idont have the cash to get it painted. but seriously, people, beauty is on the inside! Ps, thats not bondo, its primer. I sandpapered out some rust spots.

And as for my dream truck...!!

You might have seen it around town. This is a mega work truck. My dad's old boss, lyle, had it special ordered or something, but he never used it. He was a really great guy, and when he heard we were hurting for a work truck he sold it to us for a thousand bucks.
But this things huge! It has a 8 foot bed, and is a 1980 chevy one ton, and like a million tool boxes. i love it. The only downfall is you have to baby the clutch, because if you dont it'll do out after about 2 miles. Isnt it pretty? oh yeah, and you can hear parts fall off once in a while as youre driving down the road (Stiff suspension, things rattle loose), but it hasnt stopped going yet, and isnt that how chevys are supposed to run?

aubrey, a fastback mustang? I liked the shelbys, but then mustangs kinda went downhill for me. I liked them back when they were big cars. And i love studebakers!! The ones in the late 20's are my fav, after that they get that cute-but-ugly look my chrysler has, and i already have one wonky car.

Penturner, i think i saw a lincoln in the destruction derby last year. It did really well. You just cant kill those things. Thats a good thing, though.
