Nevadans?

I usually cook the cabbage after the corned beef. The meat should rest for 10 minutes anyway, so fire up the cooking fluids, toss in the cabbage, sink it and a few minutes later it's as limp as you like. On the times I've cooked the cabbage with the meat, it has turned nearly translucent.

BTW, I use bottled beer as my cooking fluid in the crockpot.

I like my cabbage really done too. Don't tell DS I'm not making it this year!

Actually just asked DH if he minded my not making it tomorrow and he said "No we can wait until this weekend". So I guess I'll make it after all.

I always forget which cut is the best and have to look it up every year. Anyone know and wanna save me some time?
