Do you know what illness he had? There are some that birds never recover from, being a carrier for life (so they can infect any bird who has not been sick).

Well the fact that you weren't super excited about them saya a lot and you did let me know which sales you preferred for calves that is even more helpful though I will probably buy from a farm in the end not an auction. I just worry about the spread of disease when so many animals are crammed into one area.

So sorry to hear that Trumpter passed. It is hard for a chicken to recover from serious illness without some lasting effects so in the long run it's probably easier that he passed now.

Still so hard on us humans to see a pet die.

Im back! I was seriously upset for a couple of days after the dog attack and didnt feel like coming on, you know. More chicken stuff.

I've got 6 meat birds and 8 layers left out of my 50 chicks.

Tyler, thats horrible!!! I thought he was going to make it. I have no idea what sickness he had, I wish I could help. If you pm me a list of all his sypmtoms, Ill look until I find somthing.

All we have is bad news anymore.

BTW I didn't start the Raiderette thing. Sheryl called you a former Raiderette and you got mad at her and said "Former?"! I was just trying to not let my biases show so may have used the term as well but only after you two had. Don't mind if they call themselves that just that I wouldn't ever be the one to initiate that. Trying real hard here to explain without offending anyone who loves cheerleaders so I hope no one gets mad at me for this statement. Just need to explain why the thought of me calling someone I like a cheerleader is ridiculous.
