I am 6 years older then my husband.
Unless it's a difference of 10 years or more they don't consider that a May-December relationship. To be considered the "older woman" you'd need another 4 years.

I started to say that 18 is too young for anyone to be married but my Mom and Dad were 17 and 19 and they are still happily married and still have the hots for each other! They fight with the same passion as well but new studies are showing that couples that never fight rarely stay married (ok don't get mad at me I'm just restating an article I read on Yahoo and of course there are exceptions both ways). They have been married for 58 years!!! My Dad's song to my Mom (he sings it to her on every anniversary) is "Too Young" by Nat King Cole. If you don't know the song, it's about how love has endured even though every one said they were too young to know what real love was. So I guess it isn't always too young (but I still think it rarely works when folks get married really young like that. My folks are the exception not the rule).
Lacey I love the idea of turning the hot tub into a mini green house! I've seen tons of things turned into cold frames and they work very well!

LOL!!! (sorry guys but it was funny)
I do have to say they aren't all child like and I've dated some very serious, put together, nice, even keeled men before but unfortunately they bored me to tears.
I think this is a serious flaw in my character!
Daniel what a sweet story!!! You two are so cute!
So one of my babies is a momma huh? That is so cool! I've had broodies steal eggs from other nests but I don't think I've ever had one still laying while she is brooding.
You guys sound like my Son's life! My son was married before and he has a son, Ryan, and Ryan lives with my son but they do have joint custody of him. My daughter in-law was married before too and has 3 kids of her own, the youngest one is 10. Linda was born in June and this new grandbaby is due in July, she just got pregnant. They will have 6 altogether...
Well my Hubby and I created a blended family but when we married we didn't rush to have more kids. Quite the opposite. My DH (to be at the time) said to me "Wouldn't a baby from us be the most adorable baby ever?" to which I replied "More kids? Are you out of your mind? I'm sorry but I have a teenager and once you have a teenager it cures you for good!" Ha ha ha ha ha! I tell my youngest all the time that it was a good thing his sister had not hit the teenage years before he came along! He wouldn't be here if she had.
Seriously none of the other kids were anyway near as hard as my first, uh very, very strongwilled child. If I'd known the others would be so much easier I might have reconsidered... um, ok, maybe not.
She is so strongwilled she was determined to never have kids because she was afraid her Karma would be horrific! At least she can laugh about her "insane years". BTW the universe had other ideas for her and she is having to deal with her Karma after all.
