Nevadans?

I haven't tried it yet, but I think when I get a little spare change I'll go get some. I also read that vitamin D (or is it E?) caplets, the human kind, squirted straight in the mouth are good.

Mythkat, 21 days might work, considering they would catch up with her pretty quickly. I'll see if Tender can hold on that long... this is my first experience with silkies, and I've heard wry neck is pretty common with them. Right now he's walking around like he has Bob Marley playing in his head, and when he gets spooked he runs into the back wall of the kennel/pen. It gets worse when he's stressed, like when I pick him up or mess around in the crate to change food and water.

Vitamin E is the only one of those two that are liquid. Vitamin D comes in solid form. I don't know anything about wry neck though.

Yay, congrats! What a nightmare, though. I worry about what would happen if neighbors animals got into my yard and hurt my ladies. Some of the neighborhood cats are VERY interested in what's going on at the other side of the fence. It's a 6-ft, solid plank fence, and any damage would definitely happen in my yard, so it would be the owners' fault. So far only one cat has prowled around back there, and the last time I saw him there, the ladies were out and didn't seem too worried. Maybe I just caught him in time.

Good luck getting back the damages! Back home in Idaho, everyone acknowledged that, if you let your dogs run around, they just might not come back home. There is too much livestock and too many shotguns.

From what I'm told it is the same way up here. But we're out in the boonies.

A little different a mile from downtown. Way too many people freak out if they even hear a popping noise.

We just moved from there. The neighbor did have to chase off a fence jumper once by shooting into the ground and the cops were there almost immediately. We lived about a mile from downtown too. I sure don't miss the sirens but it is windy yp here today.

I haven't found anything that works other then Polyvisol and everyone I've told about it was so exited to see such fats results. The chick this woman had was a Silkie. That bird was out on her porch this morning when I took Makayla to school. She got well within a day and we kept giving her the drops for like 10 days to 2 weeks just to make sure it didn't happen again. I'm telling you it really works.

Looks like I need to get me some, then! I'm already attached to the little guy. Is it at feed stores?

It's actually baby (human) vitamins. You can find it at a drug store. Get the kind without iron. I had to get some for a chick that was having trouble walking and that did the trick! i gave her some directly at first (not easy!) and then put it in the water.
