Nevadans?

I was so excited when I read the article cause it told me that in my area I can pretty much sell whatever I want from right here. No Farmers Market needed.

And yes Missy you are doomed! It only gets worse from here! On the other hand you could always write a novel yourself.

I'd love to see the art of story telling come back in vogue.

I've actually written four novels. I wrote the first when I was 12 years old. I just don't go bragging about that because I've never had the guts to send any of them off to publication. It seems like that's the mark of success, or something. You can write all you want, but people don't consider it success unless you're paid-for-print. The most I've had published are nonfiction articles, and some short story fiction.

Has anyone seen this site? https://www.mainepotatolady.com I'm willing to combine orders, if anyone wants something? I'm a huge sucker for multicolored produce... so far my cart has one with red skin and bright pink flesh... one with purple skin and dark yellow flesh streaked with purple... two gold ones... two royal purple ones. We might be able to save on shipping. Potatoes grow so well here!

When I get my potatoes local, I can find russet, red boiling, yukon gold, and a few all blue potatoes. These prices are much better than other seed companies I've seen.

Wow, I have missed a lot! I just did my recent chick order and I'm up to fifty chicks. My kids just did their first poultry show and had a blast! My mother came a long with us and now she has chicken fever, this is some contagious stuff.

I'm going to grow potatoes for the first time this year. I haven't ordered any because I was thinking I would get them locally. I like russet for gnocchi and yukon gold for other stuff I make. I'll check this site out and will let you know if I'm interested.

I received my seed order a while ago and I'm waiting to plant them. I can't wait until it's safe to plant this year.

Oh no, someone else caught the disease! We are doomed, there's no one on here to help us get over this disease!

I got yukon golds from Lowe's last year, for about $2/lb. I found them as early as March and grew them in containers, and they did very well. Much cheaper than buying them in the grocery store.

I'll be making at least a small order from this site, at least to get some Yellow Finn, Purple Sun, and Adirondack Red. They're about $6 for 2.5lbs (average price) with $1/lb shipping. If grown right, then that's about 75cents a pound for potatoes you can only find in maybe Whole Foods. Anyway, if anyone wants to share a shipment, please let me know within a few weeks so I can hit the shipping window to get them on time.

(Me patting you on the back) Congrats on your novels! I've been working on one for 7 years off and on. I may have been able to finish it years ago but I'm my own worst enemy at times, and just can't get out of my own way.

Same here! One of the novels has been in the works for 10 years! Through a divorce, a 3-year-hiatus while I was a single mom, a remarriage, now all these business and personal endeavors. Two of my vices are lack of confidence and my tendency to flit from project to project. A novel takes so much time, switching projects every few months doesn't help finish it very well!
