The guy at work I was telling you about says that he gets his raw milk by "purchasing" part of a cow - that is the only legal way. He said that he got his deal through that Stonehouse Ranch that someone on here posted about having lamb (Missy?). Anyway, they do the cow sharing thing and he delivers to Reno and Carson City!OK who wants to share a cow with me? I don't mind milking for a week a month but all the time would get to me.
Off to catch up on pms.

All you really need is a large cardboard box, for the first few weeks anyway. After that, I use a 100 gallon horse watering trough. Makes a geat brooder and easy to clean, too! Plus, it will last forever.I there a way to make an easy and quick brooder At home???
i can't wait for my babies even if they grow up at missy's house.
ETA: Those plastic totes you can get at WalMart are also good for the first few weeks.
