New addition on our 11 month old unfinshed coop

Ok so this weekend I worked on finishing the pop door. I built a siding one and in the wet months she like to swell and not slide. I also cut 2x10 to fit around the perimeter of the floor so we can start a deep little bed this winter. I wasn't sure how that would work out with the hen boxes on the floor but the girls all used them today and I felt like maybe it added some privacy. So here are some pics of the progress today.

And as usual The girls want to inspect the work from time to time. They get on me if its not to code.

Sweet little covered porch!
Might want some cleats on that ramp, or stick a block under the low end.

I've made 2 sliding pop doors, first was rather loose fitting, sloppy carpentry.
The second was a much improved fit due to stepping up my fabrication care....
....Ha! that's the one that swells and sticks when humid. SMH.

Lol. Ya I was going to widen track a little but the wife wants it swinging.
The ramp is a test ramp. The angle os too steep. It was the ramp we used befor the additional 10" was added for dlm. I need to trim the porch still and fashion a new ramp. I'm painting all the 2x10 with blackjack today. If I feel like it I'll work on the last 2 window frames too.

I have managed to get a few things done before winter comes.. Mainly getting all the 2X10 installed into the coop around the floor openings. And we started getting some material hauled in for the dlm. We scored, I believe, after asking around for a few things. We have a rather large and growing supply of mulched up trees from the local tree trimmer. It is mostly just tree limb and leave material. anyways he is some pics of some of the material.................

Here are some inside window frames that I have been working on for a while. I built the first one then cut the pieces for the other two. One went into paint tonight but here they are just in primer. The first one we built is installed in the coop. It is lavender......
