It's great you could join us!! :yesss:
I hope you enjoy your little chicks, and I'm so happy you could get some again! :celebrate
If you have any questions, post away!!! :thumbsup And we love pictures, too!
Without seeing your chicks, I'm just gonna' guess you have Black Australorps, from the sound of it (BAs are black with yellow on their chest, and scattered around a bit, but mostly on their underside). :)
Thank you. I will put pictures on as soon as I remember how to. Please forgive me for any errors as I am doing this off my phone right now. Fat fingers tiny keyboard. The main reason I got on here today was because I found a worm in the water dish today. I tried to save seven day old chicks but only two have made it so I am trying to do everything possible to give these two a fighting chance.
Thank you for the welcome.

They're very cute. :love
Your spelling/punctuation has been just fine! ;)
I'm so sorry you lost the other five. :hugs I hope these two little ones are doing alright.
If you need any help or have any concerns, please don't hesitate to ask/say. :hugs

You're very welcome! A lot of members here are very friendly and helpful, so please do make yourself right at home! :)
Oh, and never mind about the chicks being BAs...they remind me of Barred Rocks, or Black Sex Links, if they don't have a light head spot. :)

That's a mouthful! Our youngest daugher went nuts with excitement when I read your post. She loves chickens and is a huge animal lover and whisper'r we have had ducks, sheep, dogs, spiders, rats, iguanas, salamanders, goats, and cats. She has brought them all home:barnie;) but her favorite was a Canadian goose she named Brownie, he would run up to the bus and jump in her arms and give her hugs. Everyone loved it! We have 40 acres of land to so plenty of room for all of them to run around and have fun. Thank you for the warm welcome.

Found a worm in the water dish today but we have only given them crumbles and they are in our house (no worms to climb in) can the chicks be saved or will they be next to follow the other five? Only four days old now.

Welcome! You have an awesome bio, and my sister is also fluent in ASL! (And I completely agree about the animals>people. Lol)
I really hope your cute little babies make it. :love
I still only know very little ASL I mostly just talk or use an app on my phone that does speech to text but it's pretty awful at getting correct what is being said. Thank you for the welcome.
