New Arrivals! (pic intensive) - more on page 2

Lost one of the black ones this morning (she was still breathing, but unable to lift her head or respond to anything). I tried to give her some warm sugar water, but my guess is that when I get home today, she'll be gone. No idea what the problem could be, I know she fed/drank yesterday.

They had some provided in transit and I have the poultry vitamins mixed into the water. The rest looked fine this morning, so hopefully its a lone incident.

Update:

Ducks outside in their nearly completed run:

You can see them if you look closely. Still needs a cover (have mesh + wire) and some last finishing touches to keep predators out. Should be nearly impossible for anything to get in there though, its hardware cloth, mesh wire fencing, chicken wire, and more in layers.

I have enough new ducks right now. And 4 more Appleyards still in the booder (I'm broodered out for this season already) but I am sooooooooooooo adding runners to my flock next year. They are the epitome of cuteness.
