New babies 😍

Thanks.

I went to collect eggs, and was playing with chicks, my LO hen decided to hop on my back as i was visiting others, I tried to shove her off. She thought..."Oh you don't want me on your back, how about I stand on your just washed head" Lucky everything is frozen, so no mud.

I have 7 chicks almost 6 weeks old...

Lilac. Silky mix.

Don't get nervous about the lamp, only 60 W and nailed/chained in place.

Nolotus, my eggs are from Foxfire in ID. I am on day 12.
I'm not familiar with Foxfire. Could you enlighten me?

I'm actually a little embarrassed to admit I'm incubating eggs this time of year in high desert Idaho. 🤫 Not really my decision but still....But I keep reminding myself that these chickens are a lot hardier than I give them credit for.

By the way, that's a awesome chicken in your avatar pic!
