New Babies from local auction- please help us ID.

I think one is a lavender cochin bantam and the other might be some kind of orpington? I was under the impression both were hens. Thoughts??
I can try and get better pics in the light tomorrow. We are just going home from the auction.

I agree that right hand pic is 100% male.
Agreed. Better saddle area pictures on the left one would be good.
And if so, how will that work if we don’t have any other female bantams?
If your other chicken is a hen, he will over mate her causing feather loss and then injure her. The rule of thumb is one male to 10 females.
