I've not ever kept ducks, but my sister keeps her ducks and chickens together in one big coop and has zero issues (other than the occasional muddy hen). The ducks sleep on the ground. The chickens roost above poop boards. The coop had a large attached run with a kiddie pool pond.

Will find out from her today. Could be 8 months could be a year and a half? been told both.

Jut wondering since I don't see a drake feather. When they make noise do they quack loud any of them or sound raspy like they have a cold?

They Quack Loud she got them in May they were a month or so old.

You may just have all females then. Another way to make sure is to pick them up individually and walk away from the rest your loud quackery are your females!!

Is that really a way to tell if you have drakes? LOL! I know so little about ducks. That's really adorable!

Yep once they get their voices it’s easy to tell drake from duck.
