I just got these two at an auction today. I believe they are wheaten ameraucanas. I'm posting here just to be sure.

I have seen that. unfortunately I couldn't make references at the time. I think I'm going to stick to buying from breeders. Though my last batch of chicks turned out scissor beaked. Maybe it's just not meant to be.
Commit those images to memory. Also, Ameraucana are always sold with a color/variety specified. If no color is specified, it's most likely an Easter Egger.
 
They're not wheaten colored.

The hen looks to have a tuft? or is that wing blowing feathers, I can't tell.


From what I can see, I'm thinking EE/mixed breed birds.

I think I'm going to print them out and take them with me. This is the second time I've made this mistake.
I guess I will just sell them or give them to a friend.
