Looks like a regular Partridge, but you're right, some of her feathers look blue. Could be her under plumage though. Cute, either way.![]()
The only way I ever stopped a broody is to put her in a different pen or a small cage by herself.
Well, the first two broodies did great, no crushed eggs. I have one Barred Rock hen, or I did (she passed away a year ago), that I called Bigfoot. She always would crush at least one egg. Those Stukel line hens are hefty!Lol..I don't let mine hatch. They always seem to crush the eggs.![]()
Yeah, that's me. Guess she'll have to get some tail feathers and then, we'll all know!Boy, you always have tough Ones! If I don't look at her feet, I would say not blue, but those foot feathers . . .
