so in 5 months i will of been part of this site for 4 years. All i want to say is that this is the first time i have seen this thread lol.... but that isnt what i wanted to say. I have learned alot in these last 4 years from alot of helpful people and i just think this site is an amazing learning tool for anyone around the world that is interested in raising their own backyard flock to start with. I have told alot of my friends that have been interested to check it out and they have learned alot also. So i just wanted tosay thank you to all the people who keep this site running properly and to all the members for their brilliant information. Im at a point now where i feel comfortable enough with what i know that i can start passing on information and start helping out new members.

I've think the members videos should be competing for The chicken equivalent of Oscars in different categories like education (How go bathe/prepare for show), Health (chick resuciation). Comedy (Chickens just want to have fun, etc) Maybe members could get to vote on the finalists.Have a red carpet deal et al.

PS I'm a few mos. away from the 4 yr. award and getting excited. If I hadn't spent so much time lurking, I would have had it by now.Then didn't understand how to post. I'm a slow learner.

I could get a badge for all the homemade remedies for illnesses in birds that I have acquired from old friends and tried myself on my own flocks. Told ya i'm weird but in a good way
