New BYC Breed Database - Submissions Needed - Free GFMs!

I am planning on documenting the various stage of growth or my Spangled Russian Orloff it is not on the list but I can submitt pics.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to edit the simple pages

We may add that feature in the future, but for now we suggest you either:

1) Create a new page and sending me a PM to delete the old one (with a link to the one you want deleted)

2) If there aren't a lot of changes, sending me a PM with very specific information you want changed.

10 chicks now 12 weeks old, 3 that have just started crowing-you know what that means-3 roosters! They sure grow up fast. They love to have cooked rice a treat I give them each evening, when I come out my back door and towards the pen with there bowel of rice they can't wait to see me. I am waiting for the day my hens start laying eggs.

I have some Buff Orphingtons and would like to give that page a try. Glad to see the Sussex have been taken as I REALLY am interested in them, but couldn't find any to start this year. Am on a list for next years hatching, and may find that I'll have to make a separate pen for them, just till I find out who is a roo & who isn't. My Buffs are really cute and Very Friendly, even at this stage in their lives. So can I work on their page and use photos of my birds? Can I also use photos I find on the web? If so, do I have to have permission? Am pretty new to all this, but think it will be a good experience.

I am not sure if BO's and SS were/are being worked on - but if so and there is a need for pictures I could contribute. I also am getting more photos of my bearded d'Uccle if anyone is interested.

I think buffhooligans is working on the orpington page but it is so hard to keep track of who is working on what, we may combine pages if possible or just let this be a first posted, first accepted process.

Thanks to all who are getting this show started. We need all of your personal experiences to make this database as helpful as possible to those who are interested in detailed information on each individual breed.

One thing I'd like to mention is that we are getting a bit carried away in the "colors/varieties" column. When we add too many words, it begins to look messy and unorganized. Please revise this column to only include actual colors. Please take out "colors include" or "colors approved by APA" or descriptions of colors, etc. I am guilty of this myself with my bantam cochin page.

I've just submitted a Simple Chicken Page, but would like to add more photos. Is there a way to do that?

I just saw the answer to my question at the top of the page. I think I'll leave my Simple Page the way it is & maybe work on the more detailed page I can edit. Thanks

I have no clue what to do or anything. I could post the info about how I created the dun laced wyandotte bantams as well as a few pics of them, how the dun gene works, and some silver laced wyandotte rooster pics. How would I do that?
