Ahh, mystery solved. I took the video at dusk, so SHE looked a little darker. That means I am the proud owner of 4 pullets, 0 roos.

Huge set back. Several weeks ago a husky broke into the run and killed a flock of 7 favs and 1 cochin.

I have since mended run, fixed the dog problem and purchased a mutt roo and hen for the winter. I will be rebuilding my flock
of faverolles soon. Named the roo winter
