Have been trying to duplicate problem on: Desktop: P43.2/winxpsp3/IE8/Chrome. Laptops: HP's VistaHomePremium/VistaUltimate IE9. Always edit in BBcode on BYC (can set this in your profile if you don't need bells and whistles). One thing to check when changes are made. Huddler hosts quite a few other sites: Googling: `huddler websites unable to upload pictures 2012' brings up: http://www.epicski.com/t/112985/unable-to-upload-pictures/30 (might be useful to some). Another site with a `dedicated' huddler `fixer' is Overclock.net (a lot more users than BYC): http://www.overclock.net/f/17790/bugs-and-technical-issues From the early `90's until, around, 2004, coding for sites was relatively plain vanilla (Homesite - Dreamweaver). Now, with the mobile madness (I'm a luddite who replaces blown capacitors on the motherboards and will have my XP pulled from my cold dead hands - last install on this P4 was in 2005 and it's still a rock - have a couple of 1TB Samsung SATAs collecting dust owing to the ATA 100's not having died, yet - just backup on WD firewire800 passports and keep the slipstream goodness updated for quick rebuild) the dust and risen and won't soon settle (HTML5 is coming is coming... though with its own issues, I'm sure :( ). If one is interested (looking at you my teenage tyros) in getting backgrounded on the syntax/content (get a job in something interesting, eh?) try the following: In IE8, View Source (will reveal coding for page - should show where you're hanging up: In Chrome: Inspect element comes to mind (web developer plugin is also useful - ID those time eating adservers for blocking): *pics uploaded with desktop P43.2/XPSP3/IE8/Comodo Dragon (Chrome clone)

Ok, I had a meeting with the engineers and found out something important! The new uploader requires Flash to run properly.

You can use this tool to see which version of Flash you have installed on your computer. Specifically look for the version under step 2 of this page

If you don't have Flash installed or if you have a very old version, that may be what's causing your problem.

Thank You mendocinosunris...FireTigres and Nifty

ivan3 .......I will work on it

I have a flash player. But not the most current version. It says latest flash player install requires a browser restart. Bookmark this page and restart your browser?

Just close your browser (kill all tabs that might be open). It never hurts, when updating, to reboot the machine.
