New Challenge - Good deed for the day.

This wasn't today, I went to the grocery with my mother since she usually needs a bit of help loading and unloading. She uses the handicap line. ( knee replacement and she just can't stand long) Anyway behind us was a lady in a wheel chair. I finished unloading moms buggy so I put up the divider and unloaded hers too. It was kinda sad though because she looked so suprised. I asked my mom does no one help? She said almost never. I am going to go out of my way for now on. If need be I will send my older 2 over while I deal with my littles but someone is going to help.

I am going to go out of my way every day to make someone's day a bit brighter. That is a promise.

Getting overly involved in my own life and forgetting there are others out there that can use a smile.

We got above ground pool, and love it and my birds are on strike. They got word about their sisters having salmonella.....

You spell your name like I do!!! Please share the good deeds you do with all of us. I really believe that if we share, we motivate. And if we motivate, we create happiness in another.

Now, see I am the kind of person that will completely acknowledge whatever disfigurement they have going on and ask them how they feel about it. Yeah, I shock people sometimes. I have found that a disfigurement or disability pointed out without rudeness often encourages conversation.

On the other hand, someone who is not comfortable with that same issue would certainly appreciate being treated normal. Beekissed, I used to work in assisted living, so I have done alot of both sides - out there and acting like it didn't exist.

Well I gave my daughter all of the STUFF that we had laying around. It was alot. We had moved from a very large house to a small one. The place we bought had alot of good STUFF left in outbuildings. Between us we had enough STUFF to sell at a very large Yard sale. She made a little over $600. This money was used to buy school clothes and supplies for 2 GDs. Those kids looked like new pennies on the first day of school!
