I have a silkie chick that is less than 4 hours old that has hatched out and at first I thought it was splay-legged until I picked it up and saw it has an open wound with the tendon exposed. Anything I can do? Or should I write this one off?

Pictures would help. Maybe some antibiotic ointment, gauze and wrap it see if it heals. Does it look like it cut it open on the shell or a part of the incubator? Or does it look to be a defect/didn't develop correctly? If it is eating and drinking I would give it a chance unless it seems to be struggling or in distress.
