Can you get clear photos of each bird? That may be true but ive had 3 eggs every day for the last 4 days. So either 1 of the other 2 is constantly laying 2 a day or its the hen making all the noise.

The other one is currently in the nesting box and it is either the one closest to the camera or the one nesting that's making the noise it's hard to tell unless they are side to side they look so similar. Where the one towards the back is lighter. Can you get clear photos of each bird?
Thanks you the reply. Once I figure out exactly which one it is (I'm pretty sure) will she eventually stop as its her 1st week here still. Or will I need to take action?Welcome to BYC! So glad you decided to join us! Both definitely female. Crowing hens aren’t actually that rare.
Agreed! I had a crowing hen, she crowed about two to five months and then it tapered off. I'm not sure if it's the same, with other individual hens.Welcome to BYC! So glad you decided to join us! Both definitely female. Crowing hens aren’t actually that rare.
