New chicken crowing.

That may be true but ive had 3 eggs every day for the last 4 days. So either 1 of the other 2 is constantly laying 2 a day or its the hen making all the noise.
Can you get clear photos of each bird?

The other one is currently in the nesting box and it is either the one closest to the camera or the one nesting that's making the noise it's hard to tell unless they are side to side they look so similar. Where the one towards the back is lighter.

Welcome to BYC! So glad you decided to join us! Both definitely female. Crowing hens aren’t actually that rare.
Thanks you the reply. Once I figure out exactly which one it is (I'm pretty sure) will she eventually stop as its her 1st week here still. Or will I need to take action?

Agreed! I had a crowing hen, she crowed about two to five months and then it tapered off. I'm not sure if it's the same, with other individual hens.

Welcome to BYC! I've noticed from family visits, that inexperienced people sometimes think that the egg song is a crow. Is it possible that you are hearing the song, rather than a crow? Some hens make a real racket when they lay
Good luck with your flock!
