Welcome to BYC! Good luck finding a home for your rooster or in having neighbors that will tolerate him and not complain. If you wanted to keep him you could look into no crow collars but I don't have any first hand experience with them but I've heard other people say they help.

They really do. I live in an area were technically roosters aren't allowed but a lot of people still have them (1. no one enforces the rules 2. never explicitly said that they are banned). They help a lot and allow you to sleep 200 ft away from the rooster and not get woken up with the windows closed. The only time it can be a nuisance is if you are inside near the coop and outside. I have yet to get a complaint from any of my neighbours
