New Chicken mom!

Hello!

I'd like to introduce myself! I'm Mel, new to keeping chickens. My mother in law works in a school that did 'the circle of life' with chicken eggs. Out of 9 eggs only 3 hatched and we were gifted all 3!!

But we have NO idea what breed or sex they are! They have just turned 12 weeks old today, we THINK they maybe Barred Plymouth Rock but we're not sure. We're hoping they are 2 hens and a cockerel.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I think you're right, I see 2 Pullets and a Cockerel BR's.

They're mixes, maybe with barred rock as one parent and maybe cream Legbar as one as well. If the 3 barred ones are only 12 weeks, they are all cockerels. Females won't get big, red combs until much later. Sorry for the bad news.
