Ok, so I recently traded my rooster for a hen with my coworker, its been about a week and she is intergrating very well. My existing 5 are about 4 or 5 months old and she gave me one that was close in age if not slightly older, not really sure the breed but idc she is sweet and docile. Anyway, she thought she was already laying eggs, could be wrong because they have close to 100 chickens, but even some of mine are already laying. So my question is, if she IS already laying, could she be stressed from the move and not lay for a bit? Even when i had her seperate for 5 days she didnt lay. She is pooping and eating drinking moving around fine so not concerns there, I just am curious. Here is a pic of the new chick on the block, Mocha for tax.

What a pretty girl! Some Crested Cream Legbar in her, so you may get a blue egg out of her. Yes, the stress of moving and being in a new place can put her off lay for a bit. Could be days or a few weeks.
