Absolutely beautiful birds. I do not like birds with "head fru-fru". But, I have to tell you, I love the looks of these birds. Yes, they will catch on. YOu might help them with the scratching by tossing a bit of grit and scratch grains on the ground. Enjoy!

Thanks!! I'm not a big fan of poofy heads either but I love these. Perfect size crests! I will toss out some scratch this afternoon and see what they think!

Dang now I'm rethinking keeping a BluCM instead of the BlaCM cockerel.
I also got a couple CCL pullets this year.

I too am not a big fan of "head fru-fru" but theirs looks like feather caps! Very stylish ladies! Now I want some!

Yeah but, the blue cockerels have some issues, will have to go with the black.

Ditto Dat^^^ I have 2 CCL, they reminded me of roadrunners at about 3mos so I named them Meep and Beep.

Thank you! I'm partial to one of my easter eggers, but other than her these are definitely the prettiest in the flock! I think they're getting the hang of things!
