New chicks - one question

Just got our new chicks the other day. All seem healthy, though one does seem to be the runt of the bunch.
17 total - 6 Leghorns, 6 Light Brahmas, and 5 Buff Orpingtons

The one little gal did have pasty butt and I used a warm damp cloth to clean that up. I did notice something underneath the pasty butt. Not being too keen on chicken anatomy, I figured I post a question, along with my ignorance.

What is this? It is below the picky vent that I cleaned up.

Sorry, but I do not have any idea on what the heck that is. I have never seen that before. Hopefully someone that can help will come along.

I believe that is the unbilical cord.

If I had to GUESS I would agree with umbilical cord.

Yup, that's the belly button. I would try to keep it very clean, as it could develop an infection through that since it didn't heal very well from hatch.

This one little gal may be the first one to succumb out of all of them. She tends to be the loner of the bunch and may not be eating.
