Hey everyone,
I have a broody that is in the middle of a hatch. Upon completeion, I am moving her to a private hutch. I have read that if you are using pine shavings, you need to put paper towels underneath them to keep them from eating the shavings until they know what is food and what isn't. With a broody teaching them, are the paper towels necessary or can I just put the 2 day old chicks right on the shavings? Thanks
