My new chicks RIR,and barred rock,first chicks in a long time,mostly raise ducks,but this site got me to want to have chickens again.
Even Nick the dog likes the chicks(maybe just I little too much.

I would raise the waterer a little to keep shavings out.

Thanks,and allready moved the water and feeder up,and put a roof on 3/4 of the pen with wire over the last 1/3,will put blanket over the wire part if temp drops.

75,but straight run so hoping for at least 30-35 layers,rest for the BBQ.

I've got a great market for ducks and never have enough,have another 250 due in the first of the year,so really need to get the big pens done 50'x150'.
