I got a chick once, thinking it would be okay if I introduced it to my older chicks...wrong! They really didn't like the new chick. So she spent a miserable night alone. In the morning first thing I got another chick to be her buddy! I strongly suggest getting at least another chick. The more the merrier!

she wernt as bad as i thought she was going to be last night i kept her inside downstairs and didnt hear a peep alnight....going to buy another silkie later to keep her company tonight
