Just wanted to post some pictures of my (almost) completed coop. The one thing I have remaining is to put the metal roof on the run and a little trim on the facia. For now I am using some tarps on the pen. Here are some of the specs on the coop... I used many of the ideas from this forum

5 Buff Orpingtons and 5 Araucanas

Coop is 6 x 6
Run is 6 x 12
3 nest boxes (fully insulated with 2 inch foam insulation) accessable from the outside.
"Bunkbed" style roost, stall dry in the trays - This was one of the best ideas...keeps the majority of the poop off of the floor
I used 1 x 2 welded wire on the outdoor run...buried 1 foot deep and 1 foot out flat.
I have 2 outlets and a light in the coop (Light is on a timer)
Vinyl siding
I built the door (Dutch Door) using 1/4 inch luan plywood, 2x2 frame and 2" foam insulation
2 thermal double hung windows
Chicken door can open and close from the outside (pulley and rope system)

My goal was to make the coop so that I could do most everything from the outside. This forum was invaluable to my design.

The other good news is that I found these two eggs in there this morning (the white one is a grocery store egg for perspective). Unfortunately they laid them in their roost trays. They haven't quite got the concept of the nest boxes yet.
