Thanks! It's fun to see it throught other people's eyes. It looks like a mess to me! What do you think of your grand roo Primo? He is a handsome fellow isn't he? It looks like he'll be going to Pefectly_Polish on Sunday. Oliver is giving me fits. He seems very unhappy living indoors and the coop isn't not quite ready. Half the roof is on and there's lot of trim work to do. He really wants to be with the big girls in the worst way!

primo looks great! i'm glad he's going to get a great home. (what's the word on the silkie? boy/girl? i can't remember).
poor oliver - sounds like he's ready to start doing his "job" - you know how those fellas are.
but it looks like ya'll are getting very close to having the coop finished so it shouldn't be long now. did you see the pics i posted of my silkie/buttercup mix? you can go look here and compare her to oliver to see how much alike or disalike they are: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=53497
that's
funny that you think your backyard is a mess. i would be thrilled to have all of those trees/green! my backyard is pretty darn dull in comparison.

Yeah, he's actually got me pretty worried. He is eating and drink and walking around normally but his comb has gotten pale and he doesn't crow any more at all.
I just went to your post. Holy cow! They are definitely related. Oliver has that same, "I woke up on the wrong side of the roost" look on his face! Very similar coloring too. Neat mix I think. I'm still hoping to keep him. If he's healthy and keeps not crowing I don't see how that will be a problem.
George the silkie is most definitely a roo. He is just starting to make noises like he's going to crow. I'd like to find a good home for him soon too. He's quite timid but if I'm patient he'll come out and sit on one knee if Primo is sitting on the other. This is George yesterday:

That has to be one of the coolest chicken houses I have ever seen. I can't wait til you post the finished product.
