have a look at my BYC page to see the new coop. i used a lot of suggestions from folks here on the forum, both direct advice and things i gleaned from reading hundreds of posts. thanks a lot to everybody for helping me with this.
i still have to finish the HW cloth and 12" buried apron along the sides of the enclosure. i am also going to put grass seed, cover that with straw, and lay down loosely some chicken wire so the birds don't ruin the new grass when they are roaming.
i also have ome tweaks to the enclosure gate, just minor stuff.
and at some point i am going to take the automatic-door timer outside for easier re-programming for daylight changes.
