Tired of fumbling with those old two piece chick boxes? After a few years of shipping chicks out every week, we became frustrated with the “standard” chick box design. We constantly were missing lids, having to use multiple layers of tape to secure the lid to the bottom while being vigilant to keep all air holes clear, and ending up with a finished shipping box that looked like a child’s school project!
Our new one piece chick box design with locking tabs will simplify your poultry shipping processes so much that you will wonder how you ever used those others.

Here are the highlights of our design:
• 12”x10”x7” (standard size) holds up to 25 chicks
• Easy to assemble
• Creative design totally eliminates taping the bottom
• Locking tabs on top secures flaps to eliminate fumbling with tape in order to close the box before chicks escape. These locking tabs also allow you to open and close the box numerous times while securely packing/unpacking your chicks
• Ventilation holes are strategically located so there are no worries about covering them up while taping, and we’ve left plenty of room on the top for a standard shipping label
• Single face corrugated shipping pad allows chicks to maintain sure footing while eliminating the hassle of straw mats that are messy

  • 2 Brightly colored stickers that say "Live Chicks - Please Handle with Care."

We have been using these boxes for a while and had great reviews from everyone - including the Postal Workers!

Here are the breakdown of the costs to purchase our newly released boxes.
The price includes the pad and 2 stickers.

10 boxes - $3.25 each
50 boxes - $3.05 each
100 boxes - $2.75 each
500+ boxes - $2.25 each

Please PM me to place an order for these boxes. Also, visit our website www.ewecrazyfarms.com or search "Ewe Crazy Farms" on Facebook to view our Facebook Page

That looks neat. A little different than the boxes I am used too but they do look like they would work well. I would still think the staw would be needed because I would think it would make the bottom of the box more comfortable for those little feet. Nice idea though and if we ever start selling chicks locally again I will definitely give them a try before going back to the others. Is their a website to order them just in case if that ever happens I don't see an add on BYC?

If you prefer the straw mats, they will still fit in my newly designed box. You would just have to order the straw mats separately because these boxes will come with the corrugated cardboard mats.

My website is www.ewecrazyfarms.com and if you would like to order all you need to do is send an email and I will be in touch.

Thanks

Boxes shipping chicks do not need to be approved. This is in the USPS guidelines and I have spoken with several employees. If you or anyone else is interested in reading the guidelines I can send the link.
The PO workers actually prefer this design over the traditional boxes because of the new designs sturdiness.

Boxes shipping juveniles or adults need to be approved because they must contain a filtration system.

hey Bryce, do you sell just excelsior pads? Also, we are going to start shipping and by the amount of interest we may ship a lot of day olds, can you send me pricing either here or via our page please for everything in regards to shipping, like heat packs grow gel and so forth? not sure you do all that? https://www.facebook.com/SallySunshinePoultry

I will send you some info.
Thanks

Can they be used for ducklings too?

And this is a stupid question but can I order just one? I am trying to buy some ducklings from someone a couple states away. She has agreed to ship them if I send her a box, and I can't find a way to order just one shipping box anywhere.
