She should be fine for now then. If you see her shiver then turn it on very low heat.@ViolinPlayer123 its off now. We turned it off last night because I was concerned about her panting all the time. I haven’t seen her pant since
Just raise the heat lamp higher to make it cooler. She should be in about 80-85 degree weather right now.@ViolinPlayer123 its a one temperature heat lamp but that’s why I wanted to ask. We live in Arizona... and despite it being fall it still gets around 90 degrees outside. We never put our AC on below 78. When our chickens were little as well as Billy and Mochi it was February and very cold outside so they always had the heat lamp on. But with it so hot out and not cold in here I didn’t think she’d need it? She’s not a tiny baby either
