New duckling! Help?

@DuckMom2017 not sure how old your ducks are now but if you’re planning on having them inside more than outside then definitely invest in some diapers! They’re a bit expensive but the harnesses are well made and should last you at least a year or two. Unless you have flooring like wood or tile where it would be easy to clean up their poop

Ok guys... Sunni is roughly a month old. She’s either a little under that or a little over but she’s definitely at that age. How long do I give her to start quacking before I conclude she might actually be a boy? Lol

Omg!!! Love it, when mine were that young they always laying around with legs out like that! Cracks me up every time!!

@onaharley its probably because their feet are the first thing to grow and they don’t know with those big legs lol

Oh they're about 7 months now and they're outside! I made little diapers for them when they were smaller but as adult ducks, there's no way I could handle the poop of 4!

a couple months possibly, but a drake curl will come in around 3 months

Was Billy a rescue? She is sooooo cute! <3 I wish we could all do a Mallard meet up. I have 2 girls and my boy is so sweet and kind to baby rescues and females. <3 He never bites them. But he loves to bite his mommy. </3

@DuckMochi My ducks started quacking at around 5 weeks, but it can take as long as 8.

@juniverse nope I purchased Billy from a pet store actually! Well a pet store that specializes in chicks so it was like a feed store. She was only a few days old when we got her! Same with Mochi. Sunni was also bought from a store but a different store ^^

@ViolinPlayer123 alright I’ll keep listening but so far she has not made any new sounds and she’s a couple days over a month I believe. So soon we’ll find out what gender she actually is!
