New ducklings

Yes the temperature only drops to a low of 75 at night. Its hitting 90 during the day. Theres a heat lamp hanging down in the coop for added warmth. They were lounging around in the coop when we went to pin up the adult ducks. They weren't huddled up on top of each other so I'd say they were fine.

Sounds great! They are just the right age! I had my ducks out at over a month...so you are doing an A+ job!!!!!

I especially love the hand prints on their house - very cute!!!!
Thanks we got that little coop on clearance because it was missing the second box which was the run part of it. My little $12 score. Me and the kiddos had fun painting it.

Were going on vacation for a week the second week of September. So were training the adult ducks to use a solar door instead of me letting them out every morning, then herding them in every evening. We built a temporary run. My neighbor is going to come over and feed and water them at night so they will come in. Just trying to make it easy on him. We got this poly fence off the side of the road for free. We put in T post and zip tied the fence to the post. Then were going to zip tie 3 ft tall hardware cloth around the bottom. So the ducklings cant fit threw the slots of the fence. I'm hoping the ducklings and adults will be ok to be together by vacation.
