Thanks for the advice I waited an extra week and nothing had happened so Yes, I cleaned it out trying not to think about them too much. I didn't do too bad I started with 15 and got 10.
I know now that I can leave the chicks in for 2 days and not worry about them I wasn't aware of that before and that's where I think I went wrong, but we live and learn.
