I know I have posted alot but I keep thinking of more things the more I play with the app.

On managing my flock. There needs to be a delete option. Like if we sell or give away a chick I want to be able to delete it.
I wish it would tell me how old my chick was once I entered the birthdate! So I don't have to count.
Add what color of egg it will lay.
Add if it is a roo or hen.

On the egg tracker. I have more than one hen house so it would be nice to keep track of them separately.
Have it to where we can name the pens.
Add up each pen egg count separate

I really am loving this app! Can't wait to see what changes are going to be made!

Are you sure you downloaded the right app? There is no trial period for this app.

The trial period that BYC has for it for entry in the prize drawing. It was the only one by Southern States that I found on the google store.

Before I leave my official review (because I am waiting until my eggs arrive to use the egg tracker feature), I feel I need to report a major bug I'm getting. Besides the crashing..
I have no idea what's up with this, but I just added a new group of 20 bantam chicks individually to the "manage flock" feature. (It's nice to be able to keep track of each of my feather babies.) All worked fine EXCEPT 3 Mille fleur d'uccle chicks. I noticed some time after entering them that the notes I had written about them were gone..blank. So I filled the notes back in. Checked again later, and the notes for those same 3 were gone. None of the other 17. I tried re-adding the notes.. exact same thing happened again. I tried adjusting the wording in the notes and "name" incase there was a glitchy word that was making it erase. Still did it. Obviously, annoyingly, we can't delete entries, but I even created new entries for those 3, filled all their info back out, wrote down the notes again.. refresh or restart and the EXACT same thing happens again!! Just with those 3! How the heck does this happen?? I think the app has something against Mille fleur d'uccles..haha..

Tap and hold for delete. I was thinking the same thing until I figured that out.

I use it on my iPhone and I can't figure it out. Tired to edit it to erase it but not working either

I did figure that part out thankfully. Touch and hold down the entry without actually opening it up to view/edit it. While holding it, slide your finger sideways to make a "delete" button pop up.

Yea! I finally figured it out. I am a delete successful! Now I can get my flock under controll

I downloaded the app on my phone today! I actually really like the chicken breeds in the chicken guide. It would be pretty cool to pull out my phone the next time someone wants to hear about the breeds I have. I could just show them on my phone in two seconds. The articles are nice too for quick reference, although I tend to go onto the computer or to my books to research any terms or things I want to learn about. I can see some people really liking the manage my flock part, but I have too many chickens to do a profile for each one. Maybe for smaller flocks someone would like that. The gallery is not something I really see myself using. The egg tracker could be really fun to keep track of egg numbers though!

Just down loaded it and yeah it is missing a bunch of breeds. As for the description of the Araucana, it is not the standard description which would be helpful if somebody is thinking of showing them. That way they know what colors not to buy. Also missing all of the Maran breed. It would be nice if under the breeds it would be broken down into the different types, like BCM, FBCM, and so on and only list Orpingtons and let the color or type be a subheading under it. I second the mention on being able to timeline photo's for each bird so as a breeder you can note changes in each. And last but not least but for sure a wish list item, a possable breed calculator for the small chicken raiser thinking of crossing 2 breeds, Yeah that would be next to imposable but hey it was worth a wish. Thanks for a great start to what I am sure is going to be a really great app.

I like the app! But problems:
1. lack of breeds available to choose from,
2. Inability to add your breed (useful for those of us crossing breeds for better meat or production use)
3. Would like to see if we could show a breed diagram or family tree style for people that are breeding specific lines for show.
4. Would like if we could add turkey and waterfowl to the tracker.

I realize this is a trial app but hope suggestions are ok.
That's all i got so far will start playing with egg tracker hopefully will be able to use for turkey, duck, quail and pheasant eggs I've got cookin in the bator also.
