Welcome to BYC! I'm only allowed 3 hens here, and they stick together as a flock most definitely. Cera's the boldest, Tyra follows her everywhere, Steggie will get distracted by a tasty blade of grass and then find the others have moved on, and will make these distressed honking noises until she spots them and does her goofy pullet run over to them.

Your pullets are still quite young and find security in sticking together. After they start laying they'll have gained some confidence to venture out, and you may even notice some start forming their own little sub-flocks (best buddies) as they hash out their pecking order.
