I have 4 New Hampshire chicks that are about 6 weeks old. I am very new to chickens and we can't have roosters where we are. Is there a way yet to tell? All of them have little spur bumps and not much color in their combs. Any ideas would be great and thanks.

Here are a few I can try and get better ones in a little bit.She does have a few black feather in her tail as well but they are not that long. The were evacuated last night due to a forest fire. We are going to take them back home tonight.

They look like pullets, and all chickens, male and female, have those little bumps.

That is the funny the thing all of the New Hampshire chicks that we have, have that shape of a comb this one is just a little bit larger and a little bit more pink. The chick in the picture has always been a tad bit bigger then the rest of them as well. Thanks for the feed back right now it seems I still have a 50/50 chance of a pullet.

Anybody else want to chime in??
